William F. Driscoll, Senior Vice President, Business Development

Bill is responsible for business development strategy which includes hotel management, investment & acquisition opportunities. Bill brings 30+ years of experience as an executive in hospitality acquisitions, operations, and development.

Prior to joining Crescent, Bill served as Vice President of Operations for Merritt Hospitality where he was responsible for a portfolio of full service – upper upscale hotels with annual revenues in excess of $140 million.

Previous to Merritt, Bill spent 9 years with the various entities that evolved from CapStar Hotels to MeriStar Hotel & Resorts, and eventually Interstate Hotels & Resorts in increasingly responsible and varied assignments. He served as General Manager of several upscale and historic hotels, and Vice President of Operations. He also served as Vice President of Development for MeriStar. In this capacity he negotiated purchase and sale agreements, developed detailed business plans for repositioning underperforming assets, negotiated franchise agreements, and conducted detailed due diligence.

His early industry experience was as a General Manager at Guest Quarters, Registry Hotels, Adams Mark, and Hospitality Motor Inns. Bill is a graduate of the hotel school at Penn State University.

Bill brings a well balanced knowledge of acquisitions, development, and analysis along with extensive operational experience and responsibility to complement Crescent´s seasoned senior management team.
