Sharon Glees, Senior Vice President, Human Resources

With extensive Human Resources leadership experience in the Hospitality, Retail and Heath Care fields, Sharon, as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Crescent Hotels & Resorts is responsible for the company´s human resources strategy and initiatives, which includes culture building, benefit design and administration, compensation planning, talent acquisition and leadership development.

Sharon´s extensive hotel experience includes eight years with the Marriott International, where she held various operational leadership roles before transitioning to human resources where she served as the director of human resources for multiple properties and was active in new hotel openings and leadership development.

In addition to Marriott, Sharon was the Vice President of Human Resources for the Sutton Place Group, a rapidly growing upscale specialty food retailer and restaurant company. Her experience also includes serving as Regional Vice President of Human Capital, for UnitedHealth Group.

Sharon brings a wealth of experience in all facets of human resources including the design and delivery of human resource practices for start up operations, developing acquisition and integration strategies, and creating dynamic human resource platforms scalable for rapid growth.

Sharon holds degrees in hospitality management and human resources management, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
