James Haughney, Vice President, Operations

Jim Haughney possess over 30 years of hotel operations experience ranging from Resort, Luxury, Corporate, Convention, Casino, Spa, Golf and Condominium Hotels, is responsible for a diverse portfolio of hotels operated by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Jim is experienced in hotel development and openings including the Hilton Atlanta Airport, and the Hilton Atlanta City/Trump Marina Hotel and Casino, as well as numerous brand conversions and Repositioning.

Prior to joining Crescent, Jim served as Vice President Operations for Buena Vista Hospitality Group in Orlando, FL. Prior to Buena Vista, Jim served as Vice President Operations for Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Prior to Interstate Jim held senior operations management positions with The Merv Griffin Hotel Group, Tishman Hotels and he spent 20 years with Hilton Hotels in New York City, Rye New York, Atlantic City, New Orleans, Atlanta and Orlando. Jim was previously the General Manager for the Westin Atlanta Airport, Hilton Walt Disney World, Doubletree Universal, and the opening General Manager of the Hilton Atlanta Airport. Additionally Jim enjoyed 8 years at The Waldorf Astoria and was part of the Executive team that initiated, and managed the $140m restoration, and renovation of the Waldorf=Astoria, returning the hotel to its original Art Deco splendor.

Jim serves on the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association Board of Directors, is a member of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce, and SKAL International.
