Caroline Berset – National Director of Sales Canada

Caroline is an experienced global sales director with over 20 years experience in sales.  With almost 15 years in the hospitality business she has developed strong relationships with clients and travel management companies across Canada.  In her previous role with Wyndham Hotel Group, Caroline established the Canadian office of the US based company and grew her client base to include over 100 of Canada’s Fortune 500 companies. 

As National Director of Sales Canada, Caroline is responsible for leading the sales efforts for Crescent Canadian hotels.  Caroline works directly with Crescent clients across Canada and national brand managers. Prior to joining Crescent Hotels and Resorts, Caroline held numerous Director of Sales and Marketing positions in the Greater Toronto area until she joined Wyndham Hotel Group to spearhead the development of the Canadian office.  With her excellent interpersonal and networking skills she identified and forged relationships with key decision makers, senior level procurement and travel management companies across Canada. 

Caroline holds a diploma in journalism from Humber College and had worked as a television reporter early in her career.  Throughout her hospitality career she has also attended NBTA Canada, NBTA US and ACTE Canada events.  She has a been involved in several volunteer positions including 5 years with a  Regional United Way Golf Tournament, and is currently a Big Sister and is a board member with a local Child and Family Services Board in the community in which she resides.
