Melissa Meulenberg
As Crescent's Corporate Director of E-Commerce, Melissa is responsible for leading Crescent’s e-business strategies to maximize revenues and enhance guest engagement through all online search engines, agencies and mobile channels.

Melissa engages with online travel agency partners to help Crescent’s portfolio with placement and promotional opportunities on the travel websites most popular with consumers; she also assists Crescent’s branded hotels in utilizing the brand-level marketing/e-commerce resources. Melissa ensures all Crescent hotels are maximizing the function of their proprietary websites to enhance revenues with search engine optimization, paid search, newsletter campaigns, and direct marketing tactics. Additionally, Melissa directs social media strategies for the Crescent Hotels and Resorts portfolio.

Prior to joining Crescent, Melissa served as Market Strategy Manager & E-Commerce Manager for Hard Rock Hotels with responsibilities associated with online travel agencies, revenue management, reservations, and a specialization in editing/writing for the web. Prior to Hard Rock Hotels, Melissa worked at Expedia in Partnership Services. Melissa has been recognized by the American Marketing Association and the Chicago Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as a leader in the inception and successful execution of social media campaigns. Melissa holds a B.A. in Psychology and Russian/East European Studies from the University of Michigan.
