Will Operate Lodge at Cedar Creek, Northern Wisconsin's Largest Indoor Waterpark Resort

FAIRFAX, Va.- Crescent Hospitality Corporation, a rapidly growing hotel and resort management company, today announced that it has signed an agreement to operate the Lodge at Cedar Creek, Northern Wisconsin's largest indoor waterpark resort.

The 140-suite, highly themed resort, located in Wausau, Wis., features a 50,000-square-foot indoor waterpark.

"Waterpark resorts offer a unique get-away experience and are more accessible and affordable than traveling to a major theme park," said Michael George, Crescent president and CEO. "Crescent and our management team have extensive experience in operating unique resorts, and we look forward to expanding in this rapidly growing segment."

Located approximately 2.5 hours north of Milwaukee, Wis., the Lodge at Cedar Creek targets both families and meetings. Built around an old logging mill theme, the resort's 140 suites range from one- to three-bedrooms. In addition to the waterpark, which offers some 15 slides, rivers, waterfalls and play areas, children can enjoy the Bull Whackers Game Room, with more than 65 arcade games. Food designed to appeal to both children and adults alike is available in the Saw Mill Grill and Cookhouse Snack Bar.

The property features high-speed wireless Internet access and 1,600 square feet of flexible meeting space, capable of accommodating groups ranging from 20 to 250 people, including catered functions.

"The property opened last year and its highly accessible location makes it an ideal year-round destination, "said George. "Its setting in the Northwoods creates an ideal summer holiday, and its close proximity to the Granite Peak Ski area offers great appeal during the winter. We believe our marketing and operations expertise will add immediate value to the property."
