Crescent appoints EVP of business administration
FAIRFAX, Va. - Officials of Crescent Hospitality, a rapidly growing hotel management company, announced
that they have named human resource veteran Woody Montgomery as executive vice president of business
administration. In his new position, he will oversee human resources, corporate administration and
risk management and provide assistance in the area of owner relations management.
"Having worked with Woody in the past, I have seen firsthand the range of his skills within the hospitality
industry," said Michael George, president and c.e.o. "With more than 30 years of experience, we expect Woody
to play an important role in our aggressive growth plans to double our portfolio over the next 12 to 18 months."
Prior to joining Crescent, Montgomery was executive vice president of human resources for Interstate
Hotels & Resorts and its predecessor companies, CapStar and MeriStar Hotels & Resorts. Previously, he
held similar positions at Deloitte & Touche and Eastern Airlines. He also is a former treasurer of the
Council of Personnel Officers (COPO). Montgomery received his bachelor's degree from Davidson College
in North Carolina.
